Karen Basile is the leader of Johnson Controls enterprise learning function. Prior to Johnson Controls’ acquisition of Tyco, she was the Sr. HR Business Partner for sales and leader of Tyco University. Karen’s work involves leading a global learning team in enterprise learning and development programs and curriculum; and promoting sales effectiveness and development. Karen has over 20 years’ experience in learning, talent and HR roles. Previously, Karen was the Talent Management Leader for VWR, a global lab supply and distribution company. She also held the role of global Commercial Learning & Development Leader for General Electric where she was responsible for the global training for sales and marketing across all GE businesses.
Karen holds a B.S. in Marketing and International Business from Penn State and an M.S. in Organizational Dynamics from University of Pennsylvania. She resides in Wayne, PA with her husband and children.

In addition to offering corporate training seminars, Mark enjoys the wonderful opportunity of being a Lead Instructor for iPEC, one of the top coach training schools in the world. To date he has trained close to 1500 certified coaches around the globe including the US, Canada and Europe. John Paul Vasellina

John is a Learning & Development professional with a diverse background in Talent Development, IT, Workplace Strategy and designing collaborative work environments.
His passion is the growth and professional development of himself and others, and designing best in class employee experiences.
John is currently a Talent & Organization Development Manager at Cigna in Bloomfield, Connecticut and is the founder of WeHa Works, a boutique co-working space in West Hartford, CT (which is mostly now managed using automation and robots).
Prior to Cigna, John worked at Genentech in the San Francisco Bay Area, in roles focused on millennial development, career development, new employee onboarding, the future of work and learning technologies. While at Genentech, he founded NextGen, a diversity group focused on the onboarding and development of employees new to the workforce.
John holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, and a Masters Degree in Organization Development. In addition to his real jobs, John is interested in how “the internet of things”, big data, bio-feedback and automation can make the modern workplace and career experience more efficient, simple and enjoyable.
